Connect TikTok to Pulsar

Track the organic performance of your TikTok account in Pulsar via TikTok Login Kit. Step-by-step tutorial in 5 minutes. Read-only, no publishing.

What Pulsar retrieves from TikTok

Pulsar synchronises the organic performance of your TikTok account: followers, cumulative likes, profile views, plus your latest videos with their engagement (views, likes, comments, shares). This is not TikTok Ads: Pulsar tracks the organic account only.

Connection via TikTok Login Kit and the Display API. Scope user.info.basic + video.list. Strict read-only: Pulsar never publishes, edits or deletes anything on your account.

The 4 steps

1. TikTok prerequisites

Have the credentials of the TikTok account to track (brand or client account). A TikTok Business or Creator account is recommended for complete statistics, but a standard account also works.

2. Connect via TikTok

Settings > Connected sources > TikTok > "Connect" button. You are redirected to TikTok to sign in and authorise Pulsar in read-only mode.

3. Authorise access

TikTok shows the requested permissions (profile info and video list). Approve them: no write or publishing permission is requested.

4. First synchronisation

Pulsar retrieves the profile statistics and your latest videos. Sync 2-5 minutes, then automatic daily updates.

Common errors

TikTok redirect loopMake sure you are already logged into the correct TikTok account in the same browser before starting the connection, then try again.
Videos not displayedPrivate or draft videos are not surfaced. Only published, public videos are retrieved via the Display API.
Partial statisticsSome advanced metrics require a TikTok Business or Creator account. Switch the account to professional mode in the TikTok settings if needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can Pulsar publish or schedule TikTok videos?

No. The connection is strictly read-only. Pulsar displays your statistics and latest videos, but never publishes, edits or deletes any content.

Is this TikTok Ads tracking?

No, this connection covers the organic TikTok account (followers, views, likes, videos). TikTok Ads tracking is a separate channel, implemented on request.

What video data is surfaced?

For each recent video: views, likes, comments and shares, with the thumbnail and publish date. Enough to spot your best content at a glance.

How often is the data updated?

One automatic synchronisation per day. You can also trigger a manual sync from the portal at any time.

How many TikTok accounts can I connect?

One TikTok account per project. For several brands or clients, create one project per TikTok account.
